The Apartment

The beautiful foyer at the Iconic Kirra sets the tone for the building – classy and luxe. We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom apartments with ocean views. The main bedroom has an ensuite and the other two bedrooms shared a bathroom. The 3 bedroom apartment sleeps 6 very comfortably.  The bathroom products were a lovely treat and smelt so fresh.

The apartment has a large kitchen with all the appliances you will need – a large fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stovetop with oven. Next to the kitchen is a washer and dryer. These features make the Iconic Kirra a perfect family stay as you can have the comforts of home while being on holidays.

There is enough seating both inside and out for 6 – a dining room, lounge seating and on the large balcony.  The apartment has beautiful furnishings, artwork and a very modern kitchen.

The Building Features

Once checked in your swipe key gives you access to the many features of the building. Parking for one car is included in your tariff and is in the secured basement.

The Iconic Kirra has a heated pool on level 2 with an excellent entertainment area with a barbeque and seating for a relaxing afternoon. The gym is next to the pool area for those wanting to workout.

You can find more info about booking the apartment here.

The Views

The views from the apartments are stunning and it is easy to see the whole coastline – from Surfer Paradise to Coolangatta. We spent a long time watching the activity below. From spotting whales to watching the surfers and the clear blue water. The view was the highlight of the weekend.

Things to walk to from Iconic Kirra

Once we parked the car we didn’t need it again as there is so many brilliant places to walk to. From the apartment I counted just over 50 steps to the beach. Yes it is so close and it is a safe patrolled beach. The water is calm at Kirra beach and a great family spot.

There are many cafes and restaurants under the building and within a stone’s throw from the front door. We had a great Thai meal, Poke bowls for lunch and so many breakfast choices.

The kids loved the playground directly in front of the iconic Kirra as well as the bike paths that went seemingly forever.

We walked around the headland to Coolangatta which has so many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and Messina Gelato which is beyond delicious.

Getting to Kirra Beach

Iconic Kirra Apartments are only a 5 min drive from the Gold Coast airport and just over an hour from Brisbane City.
